It's a challenge for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a team that has achieved everything.

The fact it required up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It is hard for their hitters to maintain a record if not provided the possibility.

Some will argue the case for final game tension. Others can counter with the difficulty that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What's clear is this hundred was far harder to anticipate.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 happened while she topped the run-scoring charts, but this innings came after six matches in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"For those following me in practice sessions, it has been a frustrating experience because it appeared I've had no rhythm at all," commented Healy.

"The possibility to take the field and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun in that aspect, kind of motivated me," stated Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 as she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three big hits.

By the time she was removed Australia needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the assurance to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."

That comment will be the last rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this victory following win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.
